Devault[edit]

Is Devault, Pennsylvania located here? It isn't mentioned in the article. Badagnani 00:42, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • It is in Chester County, see here. It is not an incorporated place (not a city, borough, or township), nor is it a Census-designated place. All incorporated places and CDPs have article, but not other unincorporated communities. So it is a village or hamlet - you can write about it if you want and have some sources ;-) Ruhrfisch 01:07, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

CDP's[edit]

Why are CDPs located under "Municipalities" when a CDP is not actually a municipality at all? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.141.14.51 (talk) 23:10, 19 March 2008 (UTC) slm savaş yac ık n ajndsavaşözer yav lon i §§§→± — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.166.28.136 (talk) 07:26, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welsh Tract[edit]

Welsh Tract was 40,000 acres. The current (much reduced in size) County is 486,000 acres. So much of the county was not part of the Welsh Tract. Nitpyck (talk) 00:28, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Chesco[edit]

Someone took "Chesco" out of the lede and I reverted it saying to discuss it on the talk page. I'm much more familiar with Montco and Delco, so I thought that we would benefit from a discussion.

I just saw a headline however from a Chesco paper Deb Ryan Becomes 1st Female, 1st Democrat DA In Chesco History. That's from last night, updated today. Ok, so at least one paper uses the word "Chesco". Smallbones(smalltalk) 22:53, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
