Should this just be a redirect page to algorithm? It seems like there is little that can be done with this except to 'define' it. Method could mean quite a few things though, so perhaps this is a candidate for disambiguation? I'm relatively new here, so will leave it up to others but thought I'd point it out.Rgamble

I was going to suggest, redirect it to scientific method, so maybe we better leave the dab page in place. dab

Method (software engineering)[edit]

In computer science, method is a jargon term with a special meaning. However, "method" has no special meaning in software engineering. See for example, IEEE P14471 "Adoption of ISO/IEC TR 14471:2007 Information Technology — Software Engineering — Guidelines for the Adoption of CASE Tools," where "method" is used to mean a process of how to do or make something, as a synonym for process. <sarcasm>Alternatively, perhaps the disambiguation page should include: Method (civil engineering), Method (driving a car) Method (basket weaving), etc. </sarcasm> Neurogeek (talk) 14:45, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Method Family[edit]

I removed the link to "Method Family." A Google search does not give any results suggesting that this is a "family mainly from Europe." Also, this entry was poorly formatted suggesting it was fradulent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.153.112.110 (talk) 01:12, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
