Ben Cohen '74 Colgate University[edit]

Ben Cohen is listed as both a graduate of Colgate University and Penn State. Which is it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.210.129.209 (talkcontribs) 18:17, 25 November 2005 (UTC).[reply]

Both Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield took Penn State's now famous "Ice Cream Short Course" in 1977—part of the continuing education program for post-graduates. —Xanderer 22:39, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

check for correction and maybe add[edit]

Lara Spencer, as mentioned in Penn Stater Magazine, Nov-Dec 2005, and on the web as well. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 198.36.32.33 (talkcontribs) 12:06, 19 March 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Aren't there More[edit]

As far as I can tell, Penn State does a poor job of promoting its prominent alumni. I can't find any official pages detailing alumni at any length, other than touting the number who exist. Can anybody add more, or find a list? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jackstone (talkcontribs) 05:37, 2 June 2006 (UTC).[reply]

I believe this is deliberate. The University doesn't want to offend by compiling a list of notable alumnæ and leaving someone out. After all, who would determine who was "noteworthy" and who wasn't? And what if they offend a potential alumni donor by their omission? —Xanderer 22:45, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Felipe Coronel/Immortal Technique[edit]

He didn't really graduate, does he count? Correct me, if I'm wrong. Thanks,

James Wines, architect (founder of SITE)[edit]

The internationally-celebrated 'green' architect James Wines currently teaches in the architecture department. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.80.33.32 (talk) 18:34, 26 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I thought we had consensus at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Major League Baseball players who played for Penn State for a merge. That page doesn't serve a purpose as a standalone, and as there's no baseball section at Penn State Nittany Lions, I'm proposing it be merged here. --Muboshgu (talk) 13:34, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More than a year and no comments. I'm merging now. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:29, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
