This article is written in Canadian English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, centre, travelled, realize, analyze) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. Articles for every school[edit]

And why in the hell are there even articles for the schools anyway? This is getting ridiculous. Adam Bishop 20:50, 16 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Is it really necessary to have an article for every high school in Ottawa? I don't see how listing the principal and vice principal of Hillcrest High School is particularly relevant, nor do I see the potential for such an article to be expanded upon. Darkcore 23:47, 23 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Perhaps all the existing articles should be merged (and then redirected) here...or some of them, at least. The one about Lisgar Collegiate seems alright I suppose. Adam Bishop 23:50, 23 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Yeah, maybe, or they can just be listed without links, e.g., A. Y. Jackson Secondary School, Kanata, Ontario or Gloucester High School, Gloucester, Ontario. From what I can see, these articles don't say much else than the name of the school and what part of the city it's in, and I don't think having the names of principals/VPs is really essential.
