Talk[edit]

Tsk, tsk, no ro-ro ships AlainV 02:52, 3 Aug 2004 (UTC)

I think there is an article somewhere - if only somebody had categorized it so it could be found here... Stan 03:56, 3 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Hey, there's no LPG carrier mentioned!

organisation[edit]

Wouldn't it be better to subcategorise this e.g. according to merchant vessel, naval, yacht, etc, or maybe by means of propulsion or historically? There are about 400 entries!

More importantly, shouldn't the all of the boats be listed under Boat Types? That article already exists and moving them there would be both more appropriateand make this article much less confusing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 214.13.167.252 (talk) 23:13, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mining ships[edit]

I don't see a category for mining ships. One is described in the source for the article on the Australian company Nautilus Minerals Inc., but I don't find a good place to look for other ships of the type. Surely there are other ships that have been built for the purpose of mining resources from subsea environments, even if only the rather pedestrian gravel mining, sand mining, type of mining.

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers. N2e (talk) 19:12, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
