Article Name[edit]

Shouldn't the name of this article be: List of The Simpsons episodes (Seasons 21–31), or: List of The Simpsons episodes (Seasons 21–Present)?... That would maintain uniformity with the article: List of The Simpsons episodes (seasons 1–20). Crackersgreen (talk) 06:24, 10 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good. Patriccck (talk) 16:26, 23 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disney+ relase date[edit]

Hello, I want add the third relase date (May 29, 2020) of short The Longest Daycare into the list. (Source.) Is it possible? Patriccck (talk) 15:03, 23 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 11 July 2021[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: Moved to List of The Simpsons episodes (season 21–present). See also Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television#Episode_list_titles and my closing comments. No such user (talk) 14:29, 18 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

List of The Simpsons episodesList of The Simpsons episodes (seasons 21–present) – The current title falsely implies that all Simpsons episodes are included in the list when it is only episodes from Season 21 onward. Blubabluba9990 (talk) (contribs) 18:31, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That rationale makes no sense. At the current title, subpages can be created at will but the master list title never has to change. --AussieLegend ()
The current situation is established convention. --AussieLegend () 17:10, 17 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Obviously. And redirect List of The Simpsons episodes to The Simpsons#Broadcast. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:42, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose current proposal, but support move to List of The Simpsons episodes (season 21–present) – the word "seasons" should not be plural in this context (it is not the same situation as "(seasons 1–20)"). --IJBall (contribstalk) 15:52, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong Oppose This proposal flies in the face of established convention - See for example List of The Simpsons episodes. Where it has been necessary to split episode lists that break the post expand include size, sub-pages are created but the master list is not renames. This avoids any necessity to move episode lists every time a sub-page is created. IIRC, the original move discussion that resulted in this convention is the one at Talk:List of Casualty episodes (series 1–20) along with other explanations on that page. • Support Brought here from the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television § Episode list titles. I also agree with the editors at WT:TV and the RM nominator(s). If the "season A-B" article is disambiguated, then so should related articles, such as the "season C-present" article. An article's title should be the clearest indicator that reflects the content of the article: "List of X episodes" indicates that all episodes are listed on the article, but "List of X episodes (season C-present)" indicates that only a set number of episodes are listed on the article and that the rest are at a related article. I'll be voting to support the other related RM's, with the same reasoning I've listed here. -- /Alex/21 01:59, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Note - Since the result of this RM may contradict the current, ell established naming process, this RM should be halted until the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television#Episode list titles concludes with an appropriate outcome. --AussieLegend () 10:23, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, but closing admin, it really has to be List of The Simpsons episodes (season 21–present) (singular "season") per IJBall above. -- Wikipedical (talk) 15:22, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know if that could be done without a separate discussion. Blubabluba9990 (talk) (contribs) 17:52, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Of course it can be: WP:RMs are discussions – the end result of the discussion is often different than the original proposal. There just needs to be consensus on the question. I would hope that the other !voters would be pinged here on this question before this WP:RM is closed. But it's clear that the modified proposal is the correct one, grammatically. --IJBall (contribstalk) 23:27, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Considering that it is just a grammar correction it would probably be uncontroversial, and is more minor. Blubabluba9990 (talk) (contribs) 18:18, 20 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • User:No_such_user, this action, consequential to your close, involves some very poor large slab copy-pasting, possible even outright copyright failure due to massive loss of attribution. Can you please review. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 13:04, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Glitch between Season 33 and 34[edit]

Hello. Although the actual pages is fine, there is a glitch that it shows the ENTIRE pages of Seasons 33 and 34. Which is not right since it was supposed to only show the episode titles. Can you please solve this problem? Thanks. 69.255.225.138 (talk) 19:14, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You most likely used curly brackets instead of square brackets. I'll take a look. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:15, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok actually I'm not sure what's supposed to happen there. It's teh same for all others before it. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:18, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I"ve asked at WP:VPT since this is very strange. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:22, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed, just some broken noinclude tags and stuff. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:41, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, don't mess with that table stuff again. You broke a bunch of stuff. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:46, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
