Vlagtwedde[edit]

Why was this merged with Vlagtwedde? An article about a fortress and an article about the municipality it's in are two separate concepts. If it's good enough to be its own article in the German and Dutch Wikipedias, why merge it into a different article? Especially when there was no discussion prior to the merge. -Branddobbe 08:09, Feb 12, 2005 (UTC)

Serperate articles for the town and the fort[edit]

It makes no sense to have information on both a town and a fort merged into one article. They are completely different things. I have decided to make a separate article for the fort, which will hopefully solve any further confusions or problems. -(Wikipedian1234 (talk) 22:10, 6 October 2009 (UTC))[reply]

I am constructing a separate article for the fort. Any comments on the article are welcome on the talk page-(Wikipedian1234 (talk) 02:16, 9 October 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Which William?[edit]

Village article says fort was built by William of Orange. Fort article says fort was built by William the Silent. 50.39.175.148 (talk) 16:56, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
