Talk:Hollerith card

Hang on! there's already an entry for punch card (and one for Hermann Hollerith, which also duplicates some of the information, but probably is needed). But punch card and Hollerith card need to be merged, but I don't know how to do that.

I suppose I should have checked for that. The punch card article isn't great, but there is more volume than we have here. I would think that punch card should be generic where Hollerith is more specific, particularly, the use of the Hollerith code rather than EBCDIC would be a distinction; also, there are some earlier oddball cards incompatible with the Hollerith format.
