Hi Zimbabweed. Just wanted to let you know and explain my actions. This needs no action from you:

I saw that you created and used a template named {{·nowrap}} that does the exact same job as {{·wrap}} and {{·w}}. Some one else had later redirected your template to {{·wrap}}.

I think that "nowrap" was the wrong meaning, since the template inserted a point where it may wrap, not a point where it may not wrap. And your template name was longer and thus bulkier to use in link lists. So I updated the three navboxes that used this template to use {{·wrap}} directly: {{Madonna songs}}, {{Shania Twain singles}} and {{Whitney Houston Singles}}.

I have then nominated your template for deletion. (Sorry about that.)

2009 Hudson River mid-air collision

I was wondering whether we should nominate this article for Good Article status, and being one of the top editors of this article, your opinion is important to me. I might be trying to push this article too quickly to GA-status, so please stop me if that is the case.

I think that this article has the qualities of a good article:

• 1. It is generally well-written, and complies with MoS as far as I can see.
• 2. It is factually accurate and has multiple sources (21 right now), all of which are credible news articles and documents by credible sources (e.g. NY Times, CNN, US Supreme Court).
• 3. It is broad and covers all aspects of the event without excessive detail, and has info about the crash, recovery, investigation, and aftermath.
• 4. It adheres to NPOV, and any statements that might possibly be considered points of view are all reliably sourced.
• 5. There is no edit war and the article is stable. As far as I can tell, all of the edits in the past few days have been constructive or simply fixing errors.
• 6. Though there are only two images, both are free US Coast Guard pictures, and if needed, there are additional pictures available.

Fire Island → Fire Island (disambiguation)

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Fire Island a different title by copying its content and pasting it into Fire Island (disambiguation). This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Non-specific map for area codes for New York State

We do have a map of area codes for New York that does not specifically highlight any particular area code. It's specifically for use on the state area code page, and I was surprised to find it's not there. It's file:area codes ny.svg and it's used as the "base" map for editing all the others. I'm going to see about inserting it there. The idea being when there are changes, the person wanting to update the map starts with downloading that master map, make changes when new area codes are added to New York or to any of the states or provinces that touch it, then upload it back, replacing the old one, that makes the base map correct. Then they use the now corrected master map to recreate the other New York area code maps by coloring each one separately, then re-uploading each one. This gives the benefit there is one non-specific map showing all of them, and one for each area code that highlights it. And because it's an SVG map, it resizes beautifully, because it's raster image, unlike PNG, BMP or JPG maps which are bitmapped images, so the map can be made smaller or larger than the size it was saved at, and it's always crisp and clear.

I know you said you were also watching my talk pages, but I thought I'd expand how I intended the area code maps to work. I have done the same thing with other places as I got around to it. I have set up the same thing for another high area code state, California. 2014 FIFA World Cup broadcasters

Hi! I removed your edits from the 2014 FIFA World Cup broadcasting rights article as this one is should include only broadcasters and not channels (with ABC being the exception as ABC Sports still legally exists). If you look at Portugal on the list, you'll see that RTP and SportTV are listed, and not any channel owned by them.
