Here are some links I find useful

Let me see... Our "Leader" is Jimbo Wales. Some other leaders include User:Eloquence and User:Maveric149. You don't need to contact them however to make improvements, even sweeping ones. The wikipedia strives to be very egalitarian, and at least theoretically encourages change ;) Be bold! is a common phrase to accentuate this. On the other hand, those among us are varying in their degree of friendliness and acceptance of policy. I have spend far too much of my time as of late dealing with internet trolls on the wiki, and thus felt inclined to spend more of my time welcoming newcomers and creating new articles, rather than editing controvercial topics (which is where the more difficult folks tend to gather, BTW). In any case good luck, and feel free to enquire as to any questions you might have (altho the above links should answer most of them) and simply to be sociable as well. Unlike some I tend to be fairly chatty, so don't be suprised if the next interaction (or one of them) is of a less polite and endearing nature than mine. Such is the way of the internet, where the lowest common denominator of social discourse all to often rises to the top. Welcome aboard and thanks for your improvements, Sam Spade 22:34, 13 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. one of your questions (expert resource) left me a bit stumped. Some questions should go to the Wikipedia:Village pump, some to the Wikipedia:Reference_desk, but most are best answered within the talk page of the article in question, reached by either clicking "discuss this page" on the taskbar to the left, or typing Talk:Life insurance (or talk:XYZpage name). Questions left there may or may not be answered promptly, but its often the best place to start w a specific question. Sam Spade 22:41, 13 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
