WikiProject Military history/Assessment/Tag & Assess 2008[edit]

Article reassessed and graded as start class. However, a large section of the article seems to be more about Kearny's campaign in California against Mexico then the actual topic in the title. --dashiellx (talk) 14:48, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kearny

Ranks of the deceased -- seems to me that official sources as to the ranks of the deceased who are buried in Ft. Rosecrans or any other National Cemetery should be the definitive source of information in that regard. With this in mind, I'm deleting Rear Admiral from the Darden entry.--S. War Graves Commission non-named burials[edit]

The fact that we have 2 burials of non-notable persons from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission is not significant. This section is for persons who have notability in terms of Wikipedia. Numerous spouses of servicepersons are buried at FRNC, and there is no distinguishing their status or notability vis-a-vis other persons. For these reasons the reference to CWGC burials has been removed as unencyclopedic. – S. Rich (talk) 04:32, 4 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
