Hey, folks. What was the name of that futurist who wrote about being a "transhuman"? He had a numerical name. He ought to be included in this futurism entry. --Anon.

Well, there are now lots of people who call themselves transhumanists in the world, including me. See, for example, http://www.extropy.org. The one you're thinking of, though, is probably FM-2030. --LDC

Unfortunately, many people (especially in the USA) refer to futurology as futurism. It's important to have a link from this page to whatever we call the article currently called futurology, so I've had another try at writing a disambiguation page. Andrewa 12:02, 6 Feb 2005 (UTC)

-- The gastronomy aspects of futurism have been left out though it is considered part of the definition of Futurism(art). Futurist architecture is part of the definition for Futurst(art) and has an independent link.
