Octo[edit]

Eight humans sharing the same gestational period are called octuplets and are usually all born within a short period of time.
The [[month of October was in the early Roman calendar the eighth month.
An octopus is an eight legged cephalopod.

This material is not about octet per se. Move it somewhere else.

Will do soon - let me think about where to put it. Any suggestions are welcome - these are Octo- prefix words, so I will put them there for now. I am a newebee to WP, so am still finding my way. Thanks for the feedback, best wishes Leonard G. 01:28, 23 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
Well, Wikipedia is not a dictionary. If your interest is in definitions and etymology, consider moving your material to the Wiktionary companion project.

Both of you can stop clogging up the internet with your tripe. —R. Truitt 16:01, 2006 March 24 (Chicago)

Split the article[edit]

I believe that we should split the article into:

  • Octet (music)
  • Octet (computers and networking)
  • Octet (chemistry)

That way, it is easier for people to search. --Mozart2005 02:58, 27 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
