Name[edit]

Shouldn't we change this article to the widely-used 'Ritual'? I've no qualms with shiki-jitsu, but it seems inconsistent with other Wikipedia articles using Foreign Language Film's localised titles. VF01 (talk) 02:37, 30 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

65.27.239.28, thank you for a very valuable addition ! I will take and add a few screenshots of the film as soom as I have some time for this. Rama 17:39, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Images[edit]

Neilworms, do you think there were too many images before, or just that they impaired the formatting ? If the latter, can we try and work to make the page nice while retaining the other photos ? Rama 17:24, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)

I was looking at it on a 21 in monitor with a much higher resolution. At that resolution the images looked really bad, they were tiled diagonally across the screen interfering with the content of the article.

I later looked at the article on a 17 in monitor and noticed that at lower resolution they were all to the right on the screen not interfering with the article. Unless you can do the formatting in such a way to solve this problem at higher resolutions lets keep it like this so the article looks clean on both 17 in and 21 in monitors.

Btw, I think the images are great, the descriptions on them were a bit unclear so I had cleaned them up a bit to convey the same idea.

OK, I'll try to see wether I can find a way to force a proper layout. You certainly did well with the captions, I am much of unclear sometimes ! :) Thanks ! Rama 20:02, 20 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:SJ umbrella bath.jpg[edit]

Image:SJ umbrella bath.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:55, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
