Product list[edit]

The section Sequential (company)#Product list clearly ignore the important products of the company listed on [1]. It seems a kind of vandalism. We need accurate article without intentional obfuscation. --Clusternote (talk) 15:12, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please be careful when accusing other editors of vandalism.
It isn't vandalism to remove content from articles based on Wikipedia policy. As I stated in my edit summary, the Wikipedia policies that apply here are WP:VERIFY (all information requires a high-quality source) and WP:INDISCRIMINATE (articles shouldn't just be context-free lists of stuff). Don't obfuscate the name field of citation tag <ref name="..."/>[edit]

Before the revision 1149486045 of this article, the name field of citation tag <ref/> had been unnaturally obfuscated as following:

  • name=":0" —— Keyboard magazine (October 2018)
  • name=":1" —— Keyboard magazine (June 2013)
  • name=":02" —— FACT magazine in 2017
  • name=":2" —— FACT magazine in 2016
  • name=":23" —— FACT magazine in 2016 (DUPLICATION of above!)
  • name=":3" —— Dan Gentile's article in 2022
  • name=":15" —— Peter Kirn's book in 2011

These obfuscations are inconvenient for other writers. Don't obfuscate these. --Clusternote (talk) 15:49, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

These aren't intentionally obfuscated. They are the product of using the Wikipedia Visual Editor, which auto-generates refnames numerically. The refnames can be easily replaced with the RefNamer tool. Popcornfud (talk) 16:32, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
