Caribou Township is a township in Kittson County, Minnesota, United States.

Caribou Township was organized in 1908, and named for the migratory woodland caribou in the area. The population was 48 at the 2000 census.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 44.2 square miles (114 km²), of which 44.2 square miles (114 km²) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km²) (0.07%) is water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there were 48 people, 14 households, and 13 families residing in the township. The population density was 1.1 inhabitants per square mile (0.42/km²). There were 22 housing units at an average density of 0.5 per square mile (0.19/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White.
