Use sparingly

Please try to use this template sparingly. It looks very strident on a page. Oleg Alexandrov 22:47, 4 May 2005 (UTC) with evil help from James S. 16:16, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Discussion

Indeed. This is for important comments about an article that cannot be shown using a more specific template. Unimportant comments should use the usual, non-templated method. violet/riga (t) 08:36, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
Perhaps a move to "notice" would be appropriate? When I think of "comment", I think of what I am leaving now. By the way, I really like how this template is leading to people to providing descriptive and specific information on some of the subjects. –MT 30 June 2005 10:47 (UTC)
That's quite a good suggestion actually. Any objections before we move it? violet/riga (t) 30 June 2005 10:59 (UTC)
Please move it! I have trawled through the archives of WP:TS becuase I knew that you had mentioned it at some time on three different occasions. I will remember "notice". smoddy 2 July 2005 22:00 (UTC)
Agree. "Notice" makes more sense for such an eye-catching template. --Malathion 4 July 2005 03:57 (UTC)

Any objections to switching to SVG?

Does anyone object if I replace the PNG currently used with an SVG information icon? El T 14:41, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
