Kings of Sparta[edit]

Shouldn't this be under King of Sparta? Or maybe "List of Kings of Sparta"? Deb 17:10 27 May 2003 (UTC)

What is the "little evidence" regarding "the existence of any kings before the middle of the 6th century BC or so"? The current phrasing suggests that that there were none (or at least fewer than were recorded), and calls the accuracy of these lists into question; is this based upon contradictory records, or merely a lack of archeological evidence? King Leon[edit]

Mythological kings[edit]

Sparta was a republic from 221 to 219 BC.[edit]

Leonidas I[edit]
