Added the "In popular culture section again...I'm am unsure why it was entirely removed, I think pop culture should be referenced in this article. In Popular Culture[edit]

In 2013, both "Royals" by Lorde and "New Slaves" by Kanye West reference Maybachs. Why on earth is there no popular culture section? I can see it keeps getting taken out. Why is this so? Fair use rationale for Image:Maybach.png[edit]

Image:Maybach.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Sentence ?[edit]

Near the end of the article it is said that "...over two million equipment option combinations available..." Somehow I doubt that is possible... Company vs brand[edit]

The article is bit misleading as it combines the old company and continues with 2000s brand, the infobox gives easily false info that it still the same company thats going on... --Typ932 T·C 08:35, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Typo in original name?[edit]

From the article: The company was originally [...] known as "Luftfahrzeug-Motoreinbau GmbH" (literally "Aircraft Engine Installation Company") until 1918. I think the "i" in "Motoreinbau" is a typo; in stead of Motor-Einbau (Engine Installation) it should be Motoren-Bau (Engine[s] Manufacture). Unless somebody posts a source for the "Einbau" form within a few days, I'll change it to "Motorenbau", OK?--CRConrad (talk) 11:27, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MM S600 review in WSJ[edit]

I'm not quite sure what to do with this, but commend to your attention Dan Neil's delicious review of 02/07/2015. Samples:

...I believe a high percentage of people who own this car will be pompous windbags.
...the Mercedes-Maybach’s foldout tables are superb: heavy, sturdy, with frictionless articulation and a leather writing surface worthy of a corrupt dictator’s presidential desk.

Ultimately Neil gets carsick from what he thinks is "simulator sickness" -- he was being chauffered from Sta Barbara to LAX.

Rolls-Royce's Phantom III?[edit]

From the Maybach Zeppelin article: Along with the Voisin, and behind the Daimler Double Six, this was Europe's joint second luxury V12 car in production. Rolls-Royce's Phantom III was produced from 1936 to 1939 and had a 7.3-liter V12. Shouldn't it be mentioned in the article? --RThompson82 (talk) 20:02, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
