Wilhelm II[edit]

Having read through most of the memoirs of the last German Emperor, there was a section dealing with this fiasco, in which the Kaiser reveals that he did, in fact, oppose his appointment, due to his relatively meager wealth and limited knowlege of Albania. However, he also brought up that he attempted to give him some very important advice regarding albanian traditional custom and an attempt to convince him to build his capital away from the range of british naval cannons. It was rather interesting to hear from his end, and I was wondering if it was admissable in the article in some way.207.5.160.27 (talk) 11:55, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dates[edit]

The dates of the reign probably are given according to the Old Style. Andres 21:10, 24 Mar 2004 (UTC)

According to the New Style, the enthronement is reported to be March 7, however this makes the difference of fourteen days, not thirteen, if I am right. Andres 21:14, 24 Mar 2004 (UTC)

[1]: March 7 through September 3. Andres 21:53, 24 Mar 2004 (UTC)

...of Albania?[edit]

I know that this figure is almost universally referred to as "William (or Wilhelm) of Wied", but should it be renamed "Willian of Albania" or something to match the Wikipedia style for monarchs? --Jfruh 04:37, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)

A coalition of Western powers including the United States ?[edit]

I don't think that the United States took part in the choice of this new sovereign in Europe, in 1914. On the other hand, Germany, Austria-Hungary and Russia had to influence this choice. --Polaert 11:47, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mbret[edit]

He was refered to as Mpret not Mbret. Mbret is the modern spelling. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChilternGiant (talkcontribs) 09:18, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Daughter?[edit]

What ever happened to his daughter? See Google. Bearian (talk) 17:31, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
