Early days[edit]

I had heard somewhere that Appleton actually had developed something like SuperCard before he moved to California while he was in Knoxville. According to legend, Appleton showed something along the lines of HyperCard or SuperCard to Apple, who then later released their own, similar product.

Late 1990's[edit]

The original Mac port to Windows (and before that to OS/2) was attempted by Silicon Beach Software and cancelled.

I don't believe Allegiant made three attempts at porting it--Allegiant did two "if" they completely abandoned the Windows work and moved on to develop a new version in their last 6 months or so before going under. The first version of a Netscape plug-in that played a SuperCard project (a BMW car project) was done in Allegiant's Windows SuperCard codebase that was never released. Roadster came after that.

Robert McBurney[edit]

The various changes and additions made through February and March of 2022 by user Robert McBurney contain many irrelevant pontifications on his and others' software products, as well as the alleged "genius" of a pair of largely inconsequential developers not associated in any official manner with the publishers of SuperCard. His edits contain many falsehoods, inaccurate citations, personal opinions and other useless info not germane to the subject. Most, if not all, of his changes should be reverted.
