A thirteen year old, scored a perfect forty on the Ohio state's mathematics league exam. Supposedly may very well be among the leading math scholars in the United States. -- Chris 73 | (New) Talk 03:21, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Good for him, but vanity. We can list him when he is a leading scholar . -- Chris 73 | (New) Talk 03:21, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. <sigh> Well, here it is, gang -- 90's vanity. There's gonna be more where this came from. Wile E. Heresiarch 05:03, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. If six others in Ohio in the 7th grade managed that score on the test, I wouldn't say he's worthy of inclusion purely on the basis of that, and there's no other possible claim to fame or importance in the article. Everyking 05:19, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Could someone add Elizabethan era to this list? I tried to last night, but it hasn't shown up yet(I'm new : ) ).--Phil Larin 05:47, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Wile E. has it right. That affair with "John Hassel" has left a particularly nasty taste in my mouth. Therefore, I'm feeling particularly nasty in turn, and it's past my bedtime as well. And Postdlf, would you be kind enough to grab a sack? Another delete is on its way to the Brooklyn Bridge. - Lucky 6.9 06:54, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Uninteresting, no real info, POV. Mike Church 00:54, 1 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
    • I did some cleaning up on the article; now it's a stub. Still delete, though.
  • Delete unless his last name can be verified, in which case move to his real name. anthony (see warning)
  • If he's so famous, how come he doesn't have a last name? Or maybe G is his last name, which would explain the W girl. Now isn't she bold. Since he always has his nose in a book, I doubt he will notice if we DELETE this article. Denni 05:58, 2004 May 2 (UTC)
  • My olfactory senses tell me that the last paragraph has the aroma of BJAODN candidacy. Delete. Bearcat 06:44, 2 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. If he's such a maths prodigy how come he scored more than 100%? garryq 23:18, 2 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
Extra credit. 'Tis a common phenomenon in America-- in some placess kids can carry 110%, 120% averages. Still, acing a course or a math test is hardly article-worthy. If he becomes a Putnam fellow, maybe we can include a page for him. Mike Church 01:00, 3 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. As the author of this article, I am rolling on the ground laughing at how seriously you all take yourselves. His IQ does happen to be 190, and he has published many interesting theories, but even I agree he is not worth this. Hey Mike Church, you may be my cousin. Aren't you ashamed of me? 205.188.116.83 20:39 3 May 2004 (UTC)
    • No one needs to be ashamed of anyone. You're a new user, and sometimes new users make mistakes. I made my share. Don't worry, it's nothing big. Mike Church 02:28, 4 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
      • all? all? Gosharoonies, 205.188.116.83 (may I call you 205?), it's easy to tell you're new here. Half the comments in this section are clear examples of Wikipedians at their skeptical, sarcastic best. A good Wikipedian laughs discreetly, you see. Denni 06:27, 2004 May 4 (UTC)
