War on Drugs Point/Counterpoint[edit]

My last comment on Talk:War on Drugs was pretty long so I want to reiterate one important part: I don't object to the point-counterpoint list being a part of Wikipedia, possibly even linked from other drug related articles as a representation of popular opinions? It would need to be cleaned up and Wikified better, but it could be done. I'd be willing to help if you want to do it, too. Let me know. - Defunkt 19:52, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Poke.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Poke.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ~ BigrTex 22:31, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please note also that I have removed the image from your homepage per Wikipedia policy. Fair Use images are not allowed outside of the articles that discuss the subject of the picture. ~ BigrTex 22:40, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cites[edit]

Read this before handing out advice on adding to articles. If you can cite that They Live was an inspiration for a South Park episode or a scene from one, do so. Else leave it out of Wikipedia. Alastairward (talk) 21:38, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Again, if you have a source, cite it. Alastairward (talk) 19:00, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
