I'm just finishing off a PhD in optical physics at the University of Exeter in the UK, but originally hail from Plymouth. My interests include playing heavy metal on a guitar in my uni band, Baby Back Ribs, and drumming in another, Monkey Militia. I also am a keen church bell ringer and have been a member of The Scout Association for longer than I care to remember. When not doing any of the above I'm most likely to be found slumped in from of a TV or asleep.
