is advertising, particularly of cigarettes allowed?

It's banned in Australia. -- Longhair | Talk 03:20, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Advertising is not allowed in Wikipedia, of course, but this seems to be more descriptive than promotional. Wikipedia does have articles on major tobacco brands. My complaints about this article are these: first, the section headers are larger than the sections themselves, which may indicate that the article is too finely subdivided. Also, prices for each variety are probably not necessary, and are subject to change, anyway. Finally, I'd like to remind everyone that smoking is bad for you.--Joel7687 21:54, 16 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Everyone, I don't believe there's a "ganja" line of cigarettes under the gold flake brand. Ganja in Hindi and most Indian languages is marijuana. I believe that entry is a vandalisation. Please review. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gkkarthic (talkcontribs) 20:03, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
