Here are my old plans. It is sad to read back over them, but such is online life...

I recently found the sunset article. It has such a lovely set of pictures (not to mention that it's an interesting topic) that I've decided to start bringing it up to featured article standard. Have a go yourself!

Yet another long gap. Punctuated equilibrium, you might say. Just making a few contributions where I see they might be needed. I recently read an article by an Encyclopaedia Brittanica bigwig, criticising the Wikipedia for being unpolished and unreliable, so I'm quite motivated to correct typos as a responsible user of the resource. My various past endeavours are not dead, but I will not be making any huge contributions in the near future; I am coming towards the end of my PhD and that will take up most of my time.

Another long gap. I'm sure I'm not the only sporadic contributor. Anyhow, I hope to do bits and pieces here and there, as the mood takes me. In particular, I'd like to continue with the WikiProject that I started. Hey, pretty soon I'll be a one year old Wikipedian!

It has been some time since my last contribution (8 August 2003, I think), but I'm currently working on a new articles on the Laplace-Stieltjes transform and some related topics. I'll also try to follow up on some of the things I intended to do several months ago!

I currently plan to write or contribute to articles on population processes and other stochastic processes, applications of stochastic processes to such fields as ecology, and aspects of probability theory including association of random variables. When will all this happen? Your guess is as good as mine. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone else who has an interest in these or any related topics: talk to me!
