User:Casito/Blank

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You recently blanked a large or important section of an article, or the entire article. Depending on what you were trying to do, there are some points to consider:

  • It is alright to remove text that you believe is incorrect or not encyclopedic. You should, however, explain your reasoning on the article's talk page in case other editors wonder where the text went.
  • Many articles are deleted every day through the proper channels. If you think the article should be deleted, you should read about the deletion policy and the criteria for speedy deletion.
  • If you are merging this text to a different article, you should make a note on the talk page or edit summary so you are not accused of something more serious.
  • If you are renaming the article, you are in luck. The older and slower copy-paste method is now obsolete. Just log in and use the move tab located between history and watch.
  • If you removed text from the page as an experiment, your test worked, and has now been reverted. Please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for any other tests, and check out the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
  • If intentionally vandalized this page you should know that your actions are futile and only make you look silly. Most vandalism to Wikipedia is fixed within 5 minutes.[1] If you continue, you will be blocked.

Thanks.
