  • Keep Believe it or not, I've heard of this guy outside Wikipedia. A tape of his was the hit of my summer camp cabin when I was 12 years old. He seems to have a cult following (possibly limited to 12 or 13 year old boys, admittedly, but still notable.) A google turns up 17,600 hits for "John Valby" and a Google groups search turns up a fair amount of discussion of him and his lyrics. Note that the user who created this page has a history that extends before and after the creation of the John Valby page, which indicates that it was not a vanity account. (Assuming that the IP number of this non-registered user has not actually been used by multiple people.) I agree that the entry is just a copy of the info from his web page, but that seems to argue more for a cleanup than a deletion. --Jacobw 12:18, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)
