Please do not delete. QANTAS isn't misspelled, it's all capitalized because it's the abbreviation for the Queensland And Northern Territory Air Service... Thanks Dysprosia 11:08 23 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Restored - how could anyone possible think QANTAS was a misspelling... How do they get to and from Australia? כסיף Cyp 11:24 23 Jul 2003 (UTC)

The name is Qantas. As any schoolboy knows, it was an abbreviation—in 1922. It is not an abbreviation now and has not been for many, many years. This page should be deleted. Tannin 11:36 23 Jul 2003 (UTC)

The point is, it was an abbreviation, and we capitalize abbreviations, and should still be here incase anyone links to the Qantas article using [[QANTAS]]. It's not linked up though, yet, but still, it may...
Anyway, even QANTAS themselves write it all uppercase on their livery ;)
I don't know, now... Dysprosia 11:43 23 Jul 2003 (UTC)
No they don't. See for yourself: www.qantas.com. Tannin
On the logo, and on the aircraft themselves, they have it capitalized, but as you say, in referring in text to themselves, they do use Qantas. Dysprosia

Either way, I'm impartial (or at least consider myself to be impartial), just assumed deleting it was by accident. (Didn't know miscapitalizations were also misspellings.) כסיף Cyp 12:22 23 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I'd vote for keeping it, in line with the general policy of making common misspellings into redirects to the correct spelling. Vicki Rosenzweig 13:10 23 Jul 2003 (UTC)
