Corrected colors[edit]

Fixed sentence regarding valid colors. Only valid color is white with brown or orange markings. First set of colors in first draft shouldn't have been there. Inadvertently left it in after cutting and pasting the text from another page. I used that as a template and forgot to wipe out that sentence.

Painting[edit]

I found one painting at the Rijksmuseum with a picture of what is clearly a "Dutch Partridge Dog" -- the man is handing the woman a partridge, which was apparently a double entendre at the time. The painting is The Hunter's Present, c. 1658-60, by Gabriel Metsu. The dog is large - large enough to imagine pulling a cart. Is the breed name Drentse Patrijshond or Drentsche patrijshond? The Dutch Breed Club calls it Drentsche patrijshond. What is the difference?
