The result of the debate was move, and make Michael Burns the dab. —Nightstallion (?) Seen this already? 12:12, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move[edit]

Michael Burns → Burnie Burns – {Michael Burns is widely known in the online community as "Burnie Burns" as oppose to his original given name. Few people refer to him as "Michael" and if they do, often follow it with the name Burnie in quotes, ex. Michael "Burnie" Burns.} copied from the entry on the WP:RM page

  • Support: New name is better. Tutmosis 13:40, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. I also noticed that several pages are linking here for a different Michael Burns; this move would reduce the confusion. — TKD::Talk 15:47, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

  • Burnie Burns redirects here so finding the article isnt a problem. This is a biographical article so shouldnt it be titled by the persons original name? Tutmosis 04:40, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • If that were the case then articles on famous actors with "stage names" would have to be titled the same way. By the same logic, "Tom Cruise"'s article should be titled "Thomas Mapother". But nobody knows or refers to him as Thomas or his last name as Mapother. So no, the article should be titled by what subject is best known by. The Filmaker 05:46, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
      • Okay I guess you have a point there. I'll change my vote to support. Tutmosis 13:39, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Primary Sources[edit]

From my understanding, none of the current sources listed are primary sources. All of the sources are secondary with none of the articles written by Rooster Teeth. I'm pulling the "Primary Sources" banner, but still leaving the "Additional Citations" banner; I've added a few sources, but there's still a lot of work to be done on this article. New Question[edit]

What was the reason for Michael's nickname that he mentioned on the podcast? He said it had been deleted and it made me curious.Hidef sarge (talk) 12:34, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
