I had the displeasure of meeting Don "Magic Juan"in Chicago back in 1977 on Rush st. He was as ignorant and illiterate then as he is now. He wore suits that were green on one side, and gold on the other. His shoes were also worn that way. The man is the most ridiculous buffoon I've seen in all my 28 years as a prostitute. Believe me when I say this because I've seen more than my fair share of idiots in my lifetime. Young African-American males tend to idolize the "Game" not being fully aware of what it really entails. They simply think any woman with a vagina should be "PIMPED". No one wants to read about what the "GAME" was like for a real "Ho". They only seem interested in what clowns like Don Juan have to say about the "GAME". I am in the process of putting together my story from a "Ho's" prespective. This way society will know what really goes on in a season in the life of a "Ho".All prostitutes are not drug addicted. Some of us got in the "GAME" because our fathers made us feel like we could never do anything that was pleasing to them. So we sought out to show our fathers that we could do things that were pleasing as well as successful for the men in our lives. When I say "pleasing to our fathers" I don't mean that in a sexual sense. I know that is probably what most people think when they hear a woman say that. I'm simply talking about having your man's back what ever the situation. I sincerely hope the right person looks at this web site and sees that "Ho's" have a hell of a story to tell, because if it wasn't for the "Ho's" there wouldn't have been any "PIMPING". As these fools say "I'm known from the Apple to the Pineapple" just like they are. And let's not forget about all of that Canada out there in "God's" country. Factual Accuracy[edit]

I believe Magic Juan HAS made an album. I own an album called "Inevitable" by Magic Juan. This is an independant label release, and could be another Magic Juan, but, until I can get information I'll put the template at the top.La Pizza11 02:39, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Birthdate?[edit]

How old is Don Magic Juan? From interviews with him and his anecdotes, I'd guess he was born either in the late 1930s or in the 1940s. Is there any actual birthdate available on him?

He is not a rapper[edit]

Self-Proclaimed[edit]

I wouldn't consider Don "Magic" Juan a "self-proclaimed" pimp, as is stated in the introduction. He was featured in the Hughes Brothers documentary American Pimp, thus giving verifying his occupation as a pimp. -- Blueshango 07:10, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think Don Juan is an ordained minister[edit]

I haven't seen any actual evidence that Don Juan is an actual ordained minister. According to his bio on his webpage, he founded a community center in 1985. I also don't see that he ever counseled pimps to quit pimping.

Furthermore, per someone else's comment, according to his My Space page, he is 57 years old. Hcb1975 19:02, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
