Personally I think Loud's incorrect, and that he was in fact obnoxious & grating at the time; there are several long unedited takes which don't allow for much filmic hocus pocus. But whatever. Pity about the drug addiction. Koyaanis Qatsi

People in articles will say that Lance came out of the closet on the show, but episode 2 is the one they refer to in saying it, and he never did say "Mom, Dad, I'm gay." Taking his mother to a drag show is a clue, but his mother says the family knew for awhile, so really the only people he "came out" to were the viewers, and he never said it outright, so I think the scholars are mistaken in their terminology. YouTube links[edit]

What's wrong with posting links to performances on YouTube by Lance (with the Mumps)??? My posting was reverted. 66.65.26.214 (talk) 02:53, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

UPDATE: Article should link to YOUTUBE videos of Lance performing with the Mumps, or it should at least indicate that such videos are available. PLEASE DO NOT REVERT THIS EDIT WITHOUT EXPLAINING WHY ON THE TALK PAGE!!!!!! 2604:2000:C6A1:B900:D513:B1FB:3C5C:85EA (talk) 11:20, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No, see 'What Wikipedia is not' and the external links guideline. We are not here to funnel people to video's, that is Google's task. Moreover, the burden of necessity of youtube links (or any external links) is on the person who want to add it, not the one removing it. Make your case here before inclusion. --Dirk Beetstra T C 11:27, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Lance's performance style was an essential part of his personality. You don't really know what Lance was like as a person until you've seen him tear up the stage! 2604:2000:C6A1:B900:9812:7775:D6AB:881A (talk) 23:21, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
