What the hell does this mean: "1969 - Canada decriminalized sodomy by the Prime Minister, by saying and quoting: "the state has no business in the bedrooms of the nation""

I take it the Prime Minister committed sodomy? And he was decrimiled? And the country of Canada actually spoke? Can't find any references to confirm or deny...

(Inter)national Dog(s) Day[edit]

August 26th seems to be widely publicized as National Dog Day, National Dogs Day, International Dog Day, and International Dogs Day.

Could we get something together about this so we can list it on August 26th. MaynardClark (talk) 14:59, 26 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Crecy[edit]

I have taken Battle of Crecy from C class to featured article over the past three months. It passed FAC less than three weeks ago. I have just noticed that it featured in OTD yesterday. (I wondered why it was getting a lot of random edits.) As there is no RS that I know of that backs up the phraseology used in the OTD blurb, and it is wrong in several ways to the point of embarrassment - not to mention contradicting the article - I hope that it is OK if I replace it. Should I post suggestions here for discussion or just boldly amend it? Thanks. Gog the Mild (talk) 02:29, 27 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Given the lack of response, I shall be bold. Gog the Mild (talk) 11:16, 6 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
