There's a bit of a problem with this being in the "weapons of mass destruction" category: there are nuclear weapons like the dirty bomb and smaller-scale tactical warheads which aren't so-called WMDs. I have no idea of a more appropriate category for this to be in, nor can I think of a good immediate solution. So it's really just something to think about. -Lommer 05:42, 16 Jul 2004 (UTC)

I think that dirty bombs and tactical warheads are considered WMDs in many contexts, even if a dirty bomb doesn't cause that much "destruction" per se. I think that any nuclear warheads -- tactical are not -- are considered WMDs, though they ride that line. The smallest nukes in the US arsenal are still more powerful than the bomb used to attack federal building in Oklahoma City, for example -- even things that are a "mere" kiloton or so are pretty destructive. In any event, I don't think it matters all that much... --Fastfission 00:13, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)
