Per your question at RfD

I saw your question at WP:RfD. Normally discussions on "nominees" are open for 7 days, but may be closed early if the redirect is speedy deleted or overwritten with an article (or disambiguation page). Sometimes they're closed early if there is overwhelming, uncontested support of keeping or deleting the redirect (in the former case, usually after the withdrawal of the nomination). Sometimes they're closed early if the nomination is at the wrong venue (such as reversing a redirect, a move sometimes done by an admin after the tagging with {{db-move}} - or requesting a name change (WP:RM territory). Since you nominated "Short and distort" it would be considered bad form to close it unless you're withdrawing the nomination. I hope this helps... 147.70.242.54 (talk) 02:29, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
