Does this even need an article? Come on... what would people think happens at marijuana parties? 129.21.109.1 02:29, 2 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Marijuana party[edit]

Dicdef that only exists to contrast with Marijuana Party. Wouldn't even be useful for Wiktionary since the definition is blatantly obvious from its component words. DopefishJustin (・∀・) 05:38, Oct 15, 2004 (UTC)

  • That's definitely redirect material. -- [[User:Bobdoe|BobDoe]] 05:46, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • I've redirected it and added in the meaning to Marijuana Parties. This really didn't need to get to VfD. Be bold! However I've left the boilerplate and listing for someone who knows the VfD rules better than me to remove--Tomheaton 08:36, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep the information on the MP page. Intrigue 20:36, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, un-redirect. Mark Richards 17:57, 20 Oct 2004 (UTC)

It doesn't look like there was concensus here, I count 2 deletes, 2 redirects and 2 keep with no redirect, so I think the status quo applies - I will un-redirect if there is no objection. Intrigue 20:22, 21 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Really, there's no point in unredirecting. The only difference between the two names is capitalisation, which is basically ambiguous. Therefore we need disambiguation. With the two articles on the same page, a user can disambiguate for themselves. If the articles got bigger then a disambiguation page would be necessary, but it's fine as it is for now. Think about a situation where a user wanted to know about political parties but got this page instead - there's no indication that a capitalised version exists.--Tomheaton 22:45, 21 Oct 2004 (UTC)
