Turnip?[edit]

Having spent very little time in Southeast Asia, it still strikes me that the tough, bitter, cold-loving turnip is an unlikely ingredient for a Southeast Asian salad, and I suspect that the writer intended the crisp, sweet, warmth-loving jicama. Can you help me decide? Thanks — Pekinensis 14:17, 9 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, searching has led me to believe that "turnip" is used to mean jicama in Malaysia and Singapore, and I have changed this article accordingly. — Pekinensis 16:53, 9 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Mango?[edit]

I mentioned in the Mango article that green mango is used in rujak (rojak), based on Indonesian rujak. What about Malaysia? We should add a reference to mango, either way. Singkong2005 12:59, 30 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures[edit]

I found a nice picture of Indian rojak here[1], but the WP:BRP looks real daunting to me. Anyone familiar witht the procedure and willing to ask the owner? --Dodo bird 10:56, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
