The "missing episode" - "Uncle Sam Malone"[edit]

I am not a qualified editor so I'll just plant this idea for someone else to implement and give enough details to verify/research it. There was an additional episode, slightly abbreviated (12 run minutes), described at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1104864/?ref_=ttep_ep1

It has the identical look and feel to the other show episodes; you can see that for yourself at https://www.metv.com/stories/watch-a-long-lost-cheers-episode-made-for-the-us-government-to-sell-bonds (a freely playable video using no plug-ins or executable downloads).

I gather that it did not run on the network, so wiki might stay with the episode count of 275 (but imdb includes it in their episode count). However it might merit mentioning here, and as a footnote on the wiki episode list page.76.185.10.9 (talk) 16:04, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I added the episode at Cheers (season 1) several years ago. --George Ho (talk) 19:47, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Coach's Bio[edit]

"especially ones that put the bar at stake" -- did that happen, let alone often enough to be worth putting in Coach's bio? In "Pick a Con... Any Con" there's a one-off threat against the bar, but it's not the main plot point (it's Coach's money, then the other characters' money). Are there any other examples? 69.73.92.126 (talk) 23:01, 7 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I replaced that sentence with a more correct one, I hope. George Ho (talk) 23:15, 7 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Image captions in the cast section[edit]

Cast of seasons one through three and Cast of Cheers since season six are both understandable, but misleading. The first photo shows the main cast as of season 2, although it might be the main cast of season 1 plus John Ratzenberger, who was the most prominent of the non-main recurring cast and first to join the main cast. The second shows the main cast of season 11, and only shows one character who was first introduced in season 6. Hijiri 88 (やや) 09:39, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
