page moving[edit]

Hi Cmw202 (btw, is that your PSU id?), how's it going? Just to let you know, in the future, it would be better to use the "move" command (next to edit this page and history) when you want to move a page. I did the exact same thing you did the other week (copy and paste the article contents to the new page, specifically, from Penn State to The Pennsylvania State University), but the problem with doing that is that you lose the page history. So if I click on "history" on The Pennsylvania State University, all I see is the history back to when you moved the page. If you move the page using the move command, it takes the history with it. I don't think it's a really big deal, but I thought I'd let you know so that you're aware of it for the next time. Have a great day! Spangineer 18:57, Nov 25, 2004 (UTC)

Additionally, you left a bunch of double redirects lying around. As the person moving the page, it's your responsibility to fix them. You can see them at what links here for the page. -- Cyrius| 19:29, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
yeah, I screwed up. Thanks for resolving the issue and I won't do it again. Cmw202
