Network Management System (NMS)[edit]

An NMS, as the name suggests, provides certain features to analyse and control Network Elements (NEs).

Added external link[edit]

Hi,

I've added an external link to http://www.lansweeper.com It's a free network inventory program that we use at the university where I work as a system administrator. Wikipedia should have more links to freeware, everybody can benefit from it. poda onnumilla. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.110.99.168 (talk) 08:19, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia has a very popular page that lists many NMS systems and key comparison features. Seems redundant to have a special list on this page. Would find out that a list can be hard to maintain - better to use existing page. Hope you all agree. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tnet21 (talkcontribs) 04:35, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are two external links to two differet products, one of them commercial. These should be removed and as people can find them on the comparison page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.198.212.130 (talk) 07:55, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
