The result of the move request was: page moved and new disambiguation page The End of the Innocence created -- JHunterJ (talk) 12:02, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The End of the InnocenceThe End of the Innocence (album) – Right now, I can't tell which one is more primary, this album or the song. Both are on par with each other, so, if supported, then the ambiguous title should be redirected to the dab page End of Innocence. --George Ho (talk) 22:43, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. It is ludicrous that this album should be treated as a "primary topic", and it is utterly unhelpful to readers. Who benefits from the present arrangement? Looking at the entries in the DAB page End of Innocence, we find that there are at least a dozen possible targets. And the current title, bare as it is, would mislead or at least fail to assist a great proportion of people who are looking for any one of that dozen – through a Google search, an internal Wikipedia search, or whatever other route. • Support And I thought the primary topic would have been Simon Garfield's book, if I had to pick one. As a title The End of Innocence is definitely ambiguous, and does not seem to have a primary topic. --Bejnar (talk) 02:45, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment How are they on par with each other (page views, GHits, educational value)? (And of course, Noetica's rhetoric aside, it is not ludicrous for an album to be a primary topic, such as is the case with Highway to Hell. There being ambiguity might still result in primary topic per the criteria at WP:PRIMARYTOPIC.) If there is an indication to change from the primary topic to no primary topic, then this would not become a redirect to the disambiguation page (a WP:MALPLACED disambiguation page), but the dab would be moved here. -- JHunterJ (talk) 12:03, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Right now, the statistics are very confusing for the album page, so I will not give that to you. Look at David Isaacs (before and after redirect on April 7, 2012), (writer), and (singer). I wonder if the readers meant the song. The educational values for album and song are equal to each other; I even confuse the title for the song, not the album. Recently, I added a few episodes with the same title as Don Henley. --George Ho (talk) 19:19, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support highly ambiguous. It should redirect to the dab page. 70.24.248.211 (talk) 12:43, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
