A Brief Wiki-Manifesto

Wikipedia is a pretty awesome resource. It's permanently changed the face of the internet--for better or for worse--and I believe that the majority of the information presented here is sound. I love using Wikipedia.

That said, I hate Wikipedia's policies. And while I understand their intended purpose, far too often I've seen them enforced in cases where only the letter of the law really applies, rather than the spirit.

And while I could work to improve the situation, Wikipedia really isn't my fight. There are thousands of juvenile bureaucrats running around bickering with hundreds of thousands of users who are just plain juvenile. I don't need the gray hairs.

Due to that, my involvement in the Wikipedia project is restricted to the discussion page. I give my input, and people with the patience to put up with actually making edits can decide if my thoughts are worth considering seriously or not.
