Welcome[edit]

Hi and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions to articles on Norwegian topics. Based on your list of contribs I took the liberty of adding you to the list of Norwegian Wikipedians; hope it's correct and OK with you (if not, of course feel free to remove yourself from the list!). :-) --Wernher 23:50, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Thank you, That is quite correct, and okay by me.--MaxMad 16:54, 31 Aug 2004 (UTC)

I have no comment on that. I only wrote that on the article in order to merge content on a much smaller article. [[User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk)]] 17:20, Sep 1, 2004 (UTC)
Ok, then I am removing the line about "Red Dragon".--MaxMad 07:31, 2 Sep 2004 (UTC)

You voted once for the policy at Wikipedia:Don't disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. Despite a 75% support that vote was rejected by the minority. A new vote has been called with a two week limit at Wikipedia talk:Don't disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. Please take a moment to participate. Thanks. - Tεxτurε 17:00, 13 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimania 2010 could be coming to Stockholm![edit]

I'm leaving you a note as you may be interested in this opportunity.

People from all six Nordic Wiki-communities (sv, no, nn, fi, da and is) are coordinating a bid for Wikimania 2010 in Stockholm. I'm sending you a message to let you know that this is occurring, and over the next few months we're looking for community support to make sure this happens! See the bid page on meta and if you like such an idea, please sign the "supporters" list at the bottom. Tack (or takk), and have a wonderful day! Mike H. Fierce! 07:59, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message[edit]

Hello, MaxMad. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Den norske Eterfabrikk has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet business notability standards. The claim in the second paragraph, if true, might qualify as it would make it a pioneer of sorts but the company's website notes that it was the first ether producer in the Norwegian market, not the world. Little coverage in other publications to confer notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
