"Adam" section needs work[edit]

Untitled[edit]

Rewrote this again - most of the second paragraph was not pertinent (Alison Bechdel is connected via the LGBT artists category) and there was still some POV and redundancy. ←Hob 09:08, 2005 May 21 (UTC)

ISBN[edit]

The collections 'Awkward' and 'Definition' have been re-released in one book, so I added it. But the ISBN was all weird, apparently the book had TWO.

Melissa Plaut and Hack[edit]

I believe this is the same person as the character "Allie" in Melissa Plaut's book Hack.

In Hack (where it is made clear that all of the characters are real people under false names), Plaut makes numerous references to her best friend "Allie," who is gay (like Schrag), lives in Brooklyn with her sister (Schrag lives in Brooklyn, and has a sister), and left NY for a time to write for a TV show (around the same time Schrag would have been doing the same). Finally, in the acknowledgements at the end of Hack, Plaut gives credit to a best friend named Ariel Schrag.

Given how blindingly obvious it is that this is the same Ariel Schrag, and therefore that the two are close friends, should mention of this be made in one or both pages? Hi, I found out that the link to the first reference is not working anymore. I wonder if there is another place for the source that I can check out and also it can be upstated here as well. I also read that the film Confession won Audience Award at New York New Festival. Perphaps it can be added? I really enjoy reading this page but I wish the inofrmation is more in depth and maybe the awareness she raised in her books and films can be elaborated more. Hi, I am trying to add more information about Schrag's book, Adam, since there are no information about it on the page. I found couple sources that are interviews with Schrag about the book. If anyone has more sources or has any suggestions please let me know! I will appreciate very much. I pasted the bibliography below.
