Corn[edit]

This page links to the disambiguation page Corn, but I'm not sure which sense is intended. Can you help? Thanks. — Pekinensis 23:08, 6 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Mayor[edit]

PM News gives the mayor's name as Oshieze Vincent Ehirim, not as Ken Onyima.[1]--Ankimai 22:43, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just came across Ken Onyima and deleted it. The only connection I could find between this Onyima fellow and Ehirim is this, which says "Mr. Onyima introduced the Honorable Vincent Ehirim, Mayor of Owerri Nigeria, Gresham’s Sister City." Probably just a mistake. Picaroon (t) 20:08, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Population[edit]

An article from the Lagos Guardian says that Owerri's population "is about a quarter of Lagos".[2] That would be ten times as much as the figure currently given.--Ankimai 22:43, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Origin section unsourced[edit]

The Origin section of the article is unsourced. It was added by editor Bill edmond on December 14 2007 and has remained in the article unchallenged. I have left a message on the editor's talk page, asking him to provide reliable verifiable sources for his addition. In the meantime the section is tagged with the 'Unreferenced section' template. If no sources are provided for the Origin section then the unsourced material will have to be deleted from the article. 21:19, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
