My Milestone Edits

  • Just realized I'd reached 1,000 edits...pitiful in comparison to many, but more than I ever thought I'd make. #1000 was "01:10, 30 Jan 2004 Church of the Holy Sepulchre (added a period, and changed a sentence at the end to make it less POV, in my opinion)". Let us hope that I do something more substantial in the future.
  • Wow, I got to 1,500 quickly -- "23:38, 13 Feb 2004 User talk:Jengod (thanks)" I should use this to remember to thank my fellow editors more often....it's better than "added a period" anyhow. :)
  • Number 2,000 -- "18:04, 2 Mar 2004 C. S. Lewis (general expansion, noting a couple of essay collections and another scholarly work, also a little style alteration)" Wikipedia is ultimately writing about what you love so that others are informed and enlightened. I forget that too often.
  • 2,500 -- "20:00, 15 Mar 2004 Book of Kells (adding a picture I just uploaded, and thumbing a picture already here that seemed way too big)" I am finally learning about images and realizing their importance; must do more image adds in the future.
  • 3,000 -- "22:08, 26 Mar 2004 (hist) m Medieval literature (Reverted edits by 80.179.202.140 to last version by 128.148.60.58)" Reverting vandalism....is this a sign I should be writing more articles, or that I'm doing necessary housekeeping? Hmmm....
  • 3,500 -- "20:59, 22 Apr 2004 (hist) m User:Jwrosenzweig (=Other Articles=)" I think I'll take this edit as a sign that I take a little too much time with this user page -- perhaps this'll be my last milestone edit addition for a while.
  • 4,000 -- "16:10, 8 Jun 2004 (hist) m Celeste Holm (fix link)" Who'm I kidding, I like tracking the minutiae of my editing here even when it is as ridiculously limited as this. If all I do is fix links for the next 500 edits, well, perhaps I'll avoid edit wars and arbitration cases. :-)
  • 4,500 -- "15:46, 6 Jul 2004 (hist) User talk:Marcus2 (NES List)" Do I spend too much time on other people's talk pages? Sometimes I think I do, but then am I wasting time or promoting community? Food for thought.
  • 5,000 -- "12:48, 13 Sep 2004 (hist) m User:TheCustomOfLife (Reverted edits by 172.162.94.204 to last version by Ezhiki)" Ah, yes, I hit the big 5 grand reverting an annoying vandal's attack on another user...I don't think I'll reflect on what this one means....
