Wrong Marriage?[edit]

Both Hussein Kamel Hassan al-Majid and Saddam Kamel al-Majid are reported by your website as being married to Raghad Hussein - Saddam's oldest daughter. (anonymous; moved here from article by --Jpbrenna 23:30, 20 May 2005 (UTC))[reply]

Merger[edit]

Editorials used for verifying information?[edit]

Should blogs and notably leaning one way or another sites be used to verify information accusing anybody of lying? The last paragraph, in my humble opinion, should be removed because the source cited is a notorious leaning website...especially as the site itself does not fully validate the claims.

The paragraph in the article makes the factual statement that Kamel was cited by specific individuals without his statements about the weapons being destroyed being mentioned. It doesn't accuse anyone of lying. The source cited provides specific quotes from particular speeches that back up this fact. If the speeches can be shown to have, in fact, included the information that Kamel said the weapons were destroyed, then the paragraph should be removed. Nareek 16:33, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just a Thought.[edit]

I wonder why Mr. Kamal never was believed. It seems clear to me when so long time has passed that Iran has decided to go back to its origin since today's Iran is refered as Little Iran. What no one is explaing/discussing is why so many things happened and is still happening to Iran and its neighbours related to country's desire to go back to its origin.Origin Restored 04:19, 18 August 2007 (UTC)Origin Restored.[reply]

How he died[edit]

In a TV documentary type movie from 2007 called Saddam's Tribe the brothers Kamel and Saddamn Hussein are executed with machine guns along with their family members. There was no firefight involved. Any sources that confirm he was killed in a firefight? El Ucca (talk) 20:51, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Which TV documentary? There is also another TV Documentary by HBO entitled "House of Saddam" where there is a firefight (as requested by President Hussein), but it didn't last 13 hours. In the documentary, it lasted ~3 minutes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.5.30.108 (talk) 06:04, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

House of Saddam was a drama, somewhat different to a documentary, although largely factual. It was a co-opt by the BBC & HBO. 62.255.248.225 (talk) 11:16, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
