Firefox Version Format[edit]

Far too small to be an article, merge with Mozilla Firefox and delete. ed g2stalk 12:36, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Which article is being VFD'ed here? OK, Merge. Gazpacho 13:37, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Merge and redirect. -- Graham ☺ | Talk 13:41, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Merge and redirect. Interesting but a: there'll never be enough for a full article and b: they are actually the Mozilla Foundation version numbers, as used by all of their titles and also Nvu. Kiand 17:43, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Merge with the FireFox article. Inky 03:03, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Merge & Delete, while this could go in the Mozilla Firefox (not FireFox, I happen to be a fan and know the correct terminology), it would be pointless. The information is on the project page, as specified in the article, so why must it be restated here? If merged, I'd suggest a very small snippet (sp?) next to the current version table. --Me at work 17:30, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Looking at What links here its clear that this article is effectively a dead end. Its not even worth merging. Delete and also delete all references to it, also delete List of version formats as it is a one-member list, comprising of Firefox Version Format. Does anyone object to this? ed g2stalk 17:43, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Unnecessary, since this is a standard version numbering scheme in use for many open-source projects, including the Linux kernel. It's hardly necessary to mention it for firefox specifically rernst 19:27, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)
This has been open for more than 5 days. Deleted. As for merging - if anyone thinks its worthy of a mention in Mozilla Firefox, then discuss it over there. ed g2stalk 15:53, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)
