Local help requested[edit]

Charles Simeon "died on 29 May 1867 in Hursley, Hampshire, after a long illness." He had a short but very successful career in Christchurch, New Zealand, and I have managed to pull a lot of biographical notes together that covers that time. I have found very little about him after he left New Zealand in 1855. I'm guessing that he wouldn't just have died in Hursley, but that he also resided there. Would one of the locals perhaps be so good to see whether local sources could be accessed, or even try and locate (and photograph) a grave stone? Any help greatly appreciated. Here are a couple of resources that indicate he was indeed buried in Hursley (I see you've used at least one of these as a reference in the article) [1] [2]. I couldn't find an entry for him at findagrave.com. There is a photograph of his eldest son's gravestone here. I'll keep my eyes peeled. WaggersTALK 11:55, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That is much appreciated indeed! Schwede66 18:42, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
